Alice Beatty and Samuel Schultz received a grant from Transylvania University to spend a week in Chicago developing the Scully and Boone series. Issue 2 was released at Lexington Confidential (LexCon), an indie zine fest organized by Beatty and Schultz, on November 15th, 2025.

The long-awaited issue 2 of Strip Club Comics finally dropped
in May of 2025, just over a year since our pilot.
We streamlined printing this time around, so we had way more copies of this and Issue 1 to sell at HalfTone Zine Fest!

Our first official issue released on December 16th, 2024! A lucky few got their mitts on autographed copies.
This issue was a ton of fun (and work) to put together with a double-sided layout inspired by an old Brady Games cheat code manual.
Herein Scully and Boone make their debut, stealing the show with their bold colors and narrative intrigue.
